Manufacturer

, AquaDusya, an automatic micro-drip irrigation system for greenhouses from the Belarusian manufacturer of the same name, has become incredibly popular Its service life is 5 years or more.

In a short time it gained popularity not only in its native Belarus, but also in Russia, where service workshops for repairing equipment even appeared. You can purchase AquaDusya yourself or order it online and have it delivered to your home.

It is best to choose a supplier company in Belarus. This will help avoid fakes.

Advantages and disadvantages

The AquaDusya system is an effective assistant for gardeners and gardeners. Its advantages, according to user reviews:

  • affordable price;
  • the ability to adjust the watering of each bush;
  • programmable duration and frequency of watering;
  • tightness, soil and other mechanical impurities do not get in;
  • ease of assembly;
  • no connection to the water supply is required - just install a container with water of any volume;
  • runs on batteries - no need to connect to a power source, there is no risk of electrical injury;
  • an analogue of professional systems, but intended for watering the garden and plants in a summer cottage;
  • The system is easy to operate and does not require special skills during assembly.

Users identified the following disadvantages:

  • inconvenient suction cups that are difficult to attach to metal barrels;
  • the control unit must be located only indoors: it cannot be left outside, since there is no remote temperature sensor and it is not sealed;
  • short warranty period for the kit;
  • unreliable control unit.

Ancient method of drip irrigation

Drip irrigation has been used since ancient times and was more environmentally friendly than now; it consisted of clay vessels buried in the ground and filled with water, which gradually penetrated into the ground.

Why more environmentally friendly? Because clay, as a natural material, is recycled by nature itself, while plastic remains on the planet and pollutes it.

It is included in the kit?

The complete set of the system depends on its model. Required elements:

  1. Feed and reversing pumps in a single unit.

  2. Droppers.
  3. Water supply hoses.
  4. Tire to prevent hose kinking.
  5. Electronic irrigation control unit.
  6. Transparent hose for monitoring the remaining water in the container, brackets for its fastening.
  7. A set of tees - for droppers, hoses from the barrel.
  8. Float.
  9. Instructions.

The system is packaged in a box with a handle for easy carrying. The weight of the set depends on the model and ranges from 1.4 to 2 kg.

Installation Cons

"Dusya" also has some disadvantages.

  • Drip irrigation will have to be monitored all the time. If there is a lack of moisture, the roots of the plants will simply die; if there is an excess of water, the soil will be washed out.
  • Drip irrigation is bad because the droppers have a small hole and get clogged from time to time.
  • The device for greenhouses works by supplying water from a barrel, and not from a water supply.

“AquaDusya” will not become clogged if you install a filter made of foam rubber at the entrance to the unit. It is put on the inlet part of the hose, immersed in the barrel. If a blockage occurs, simply remove the foam and clean it.

The greenhouse device should be covered to prevent insects from entering it. They can also clog IVs.

Kits

The sets from AquaDusi are similar to each other. They differ in the number of drippers, the presence of additional equipment, and the ability to increase the number of watering points.

DIY installation

Installation of "AquaDusya" is very simple.

  • Take 2 pieces of hose - 9/7 millimeters from the tee under the barrel to the beds. Each hose is one and a half meters long.
  • 9/7 mm hoses are also laid along each of the beds. Their length is equal to the length of the bed.
  • 6/4 mm hoses are laid perpendicular to them. Their length is calculated as follows: the number of plants must be multiplied by the distance from the center of the bed to the plant.

The first 2 hoses are lowered into the barrel. “AquaDusya” is ready.

Instructions on how to assemble and configure

First you need to prepare a container for water . The recommended minimum volume is 200 l. But if there are 50 or more plant bushes on the site, then it is advisable to install a container of 450–500 liters. This will ensure high-quality watering 3 times a week. Then you need to decide on the location of the container.

Depending on the chosen AquaDusya system, the barrel should be installed at a height of 0.2 to 1.5 m above the level of the beds. It is recommended to make a canopy, since precipitation should not fall on the system control panel.

Step-by-step instruction:

  1. Measure the hoses so that there is no sagging.
  2. Secure to the blocks on which the container is installed, insert the rods.
  3. Using the suction cups included with the irrigation system, secure the pump to the bottom of the container (barrel).
  4. Install the tee and hoses. The tee should be 10 cm from the bottom of the barrel.
  5. A transparent hose is installed on top of the tee (for air intake and monitoring the water level in the container). At the bottom of the tee there are hoses for water intake. The transparent one should be mounted on the mast at a height of 0.5 m above the level of the barrel.
  6. Pour water, collect droppers.
  7. Connect 2 hoses (inlet and outlet) and a dropper hose to the tee. The length of the supply hose is 30–35 cm (this corresponds to the distance between the bushes), the drip hose is 15 cm.
  8. Insert the hoses into the droppers. The last links should be damped. To do this, the end is folded and clamped with wire and plastic ties.
  9. Install droppers under the bushes.
  10. Start test mode - press and hold the “Start” button for 3 seconds.
  11. Air will come out of the transparent hose, then a column of water will appear. The pump runs for 1 minute, then the water flows by gravity. After a minute, water begins to ooze from the dropper. At the end of watering, the reverse pump begins to pump in air and the watering system stops.

The default watering duration is 60 minutes. The summer resident regulates and programs the watering parameters independently.

Unit Dusya-SUN

In many regions of our country, given their climatic conditions, a greenhouse is the only way to get a good harvest of cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers and other heat-loving crops.

A greenhouse allows the sun's heat to pass through and traps warm air inside. Hypothermia does not occur, but overheating of plants may occur. For example: in hot weather, the temperature inside the greenhouse can reach 90 degrees Celsius.

Young seedlings are unlikely to like such an environment. The only way to avoid an unpleasant situation is ventilation.

Automatic greenhouse ventilation system Dusya San performs automated ventilation of the greenhouse. It opens the window if the air has heated up to the maximum temperature, and then lowers it when it drops.

How does it work

The device is based on a thermal cylinder. When heated, the water pushes out the piston; when cooled, the latter returns to its original position.

Specifications:

  1. The largest window weight that the unit can lift is 7 kg.
  2. The opening temperature range is from 15 to 25 degrees.
  3. The maximum window opening height is 45 degrees.
  4. Dusya-SUN functions properly in any plane. Installed on a window in a greenhouse. Installation is simple and is carried out according to the attached instructions.

Attention! The device operates if the temperature in the greenhouse is no higher than 50 degrees.

Reviews from summer residents and gardeners

Reviews from summer residents and gardeners are mostly positive . They note the ease of assembly of the structure, the droppers do not get clogged, and they are easy to clean.

The battery life is as stated. Negative reviews boil down to build quality, rapid acidification and failure of pumps, unreliability of the system, and talk about software failures.
